10Gigabit Ethernet Cabling

10Gig Fiber and 10Gig Copper solutions provide maximum data network efficiency and long term performance.

10G Optical Networking with Laser-Optimized Fiber Cable

10Gigabit, laser-optimized, 50/125 micron, fiber cables are backwards compatible and come in most connector styles.

10G Networks Over Copper with Category 6A

Long-term network planning requires evaluation of an efficient migration path that goes beyond 1G to support 10G performance. Today, many businesses are installing cabling systems to support 10GBASE-T performance for both data center and workstation applications.

The 10 Gigabit Ethernet or 10GigE or 10 GbE standard is currently the fastest of the Ethernet standards — with a nominal data rate of 10 gigabits per second, it defines a version of Ethernet 10 times as fast as Gigabit Ethernet. 10GBASE-T will actually work up to 180 ft with existing Cat 6 cabling. In order to allow deployment at the usual 330 ft maximum, the the 10GigE standard uses a new partitioned Category 6A (a.k.a. “Augmented Cat6″) cable specification which is designed to reduce crosstalk between UTP cables (a.k.a. “alien crosstalk”).

Data Center Applications

Data Centers now rely on high performance 1000BASE-T (1G) and 10GBASE-T (10G) networks to support critical business applications. An advanced structured cabling system helps businesses leverage information technology (IT) investments. TexasDataCabling’s 10G systems provides proven performance in all types of applications including short-distance permanent links commonly found in data centers.

Workstation Applications

The workstation connects its user to the network. Many end-users have deployed CAT 6A cabling systems to the workstation to support the increased need for bandwidth driven by high-end applications. With advanced technologies delivered by our partners with guaranteed CAT 6A margins, TexasDataCabling’s 10G systems prepare the workstation for 10G network applications.
